For example I would like to find out which patent families were found in search 1 but not in search 2. If do a search for "search/s1 and not search/s2", the results always contain some patents from search 2. I have the same problem for example with: - app/"parent company X" and not app/"subsidiary company Y" This search doesn't work because not all the patents in the family will list the subsidiary company. - IPC/A01123 and not ab/"some word in English" This search doesn't work because each patent family usually contains a non-english patent that will match the search. The problem is that the local search engine looks at the patents individually and finds families with patents that match. Can I do a search for "not xyz" that excludes all patent families where any patent matches xyz?
