Confusion between cited an citing columns

In the MP main view there are two columns:

1) "cited patents" = previous documents/patents cited:
.... by the inventor in the text of the actual patent
.... or by the examiner in the the search report

2) "citing patents" = later patents citing the actual patent = number of times it has been cited by other patents = cited by x later patents

Around this information I see three pending improvements

FIRST: The columns are quite narrow so I can not see the whole title in my screen, I see two identical columns 1) cit... 2) cit... =>It is confusing at least for first time MP users

SECOND: I have just now widened the two columns, and I see
1) "cited by" !!?? => I dont understand this expression, it seems to me that it causes confusion with the previous underlined expression
2) citing => OK

FINALLY: I have dragged and dropped the columns to the left of the title, but when I close MP and open again, MP don't remember the location and with of the columns. The columns are in the default position.

SUGGESTIONS
Could you:
1) rename "cited by" => "cited" ?
2) assign more width to those columns?
3) improve MP to remember the location and width of columns?
4) Idea

perhaps you can associate a popup with an "explaining message" to every column title?
