Matheo Patents hangs when finished downloading patents

I encountered now several times the problem that Matheo Patent hangs, after finished downloading a larger number of patents. The progress bar is on 100% but the program doesnt show me the patents, nor can I save the project (it appears the message "Propiete TProgressBar hors limites"). Anyone knows the problem and can tell me how to solve it?

I have the newest version of Matheo Patent and work on Win XP Pro.

I try to know why this message appears.

I have some questions :
- What is the message in the top of the Windows ? "Merging PDF ? Updating Database ? ...
- Is this message appears after clicking somewhere ?

Please can you give me more details about your manipulation ?

sorry for the late response (was out of office).

regarding your questions:

the message in the top of the window is: "Download patent information", the status bar is on nearly 100%. but nothing is happening anymore.

The message "Propiete TProgressBar hors limites" appeared when i tried to save the project in the above mentioned status.

all searches were made on espacenet, timeframe 2000-2007 with an combined IPC and title search.

Important: No in all times i encountered this problem. Can it be a problem related with espacenet or with the max amount of patents downloaded? In the case mentioned above the sistem halted at 1201 patents downloaded.

I don't know this could be any help. I have encountered similar problem I find out the program PDFTK and CMD is running in the background and I just stop PDFTK and it will start running again I just keep on stopping it until it won't start again then there will be a beep sound MP back to normal again or sometime I get tired of stopping PDFTK I stop CMD too then PDFTK will stop starting again and MP back to normal and you can save your project. This is my work around I don't know is this could be any help to Bruno.

Hi Bjorn & Bruce,

If you download the latest version/revision, now MPatent show the CMD in a Dos windows, and you can reply if PDFTK ask you a question, then MPatent can continue to work normally.
