Usability - Visualisation of the Image

MPatent shows the image on the bottom of the bibliographic data (when available) . This image is of great help when a search is eg in the field of mechanics. Seeing the image is much better than reading the full abstract.

When I'm browsing through the results I usually enlarge the bibliographic data window, but even then it is necessary to go to this window and go to the bottom.

From my point of view it would be much better if the image is located on the right of this window.

Hi,

If you want, you can change yourself disposition of all information. It's easy to do this. Go to the skin matheo directory and edit the file default.tpl. Search the string : {NO PICTURE}

MPatent replace this string by a img src tag if picture exists.
You can modify all this html page but all informations between {***} must be already present.

I have modified the template and now I see the image on the right side, not on the bottom. Also I have added a link to go to the patent information in Espacenet, e.g. in case of any doubt.

I think that -in the same way that there are many skins- there could be many templates from actual MP users, so new users could choose a favorite. I can send you the modified template if you like.
