| Combination of projects |
|
At the moment every project of MPatent has "only one active search" when we update it. But in my experience very few projects are as simple as a "just one search" so in my opinion the actual update is not doing all that a user is expecting.
If future versions of MPatent have the possibility of remembering all the search strategies that have been executed in a project and then update all of them at once, that would be really good.
But for me the ideal solution is more in the side of the possibility to "combine projects", I mean that a user very probably will prefer to build and validate simple strategies:
- project A1 with first search strategy
- project A2 with second search strategy
- project A3 ...
- ... etc
Then the user could build a superproject A as a combination of simple projects, for example:
- A1 OR A2 OR A3
- A1 NOT (A2 OR A3)
- A1 AND (A2 NOT A3)
... etc
Then to update the project A the system should:
- update strategy of A1, A2, A3
- update combination of A1, A2, A3
This could be useful also to many other circumstances: eg
- when I have a list of favorite patents that I like to combine/subtract
- when I do a new search and I like to subtract all the patents that I have examined before in other searches
...etc
regards

Hi,
For the "Combine project", it seems to be a very good idea but it requires much time of development, so you will be patient
Certainly the next version of MPatent (i hope soon ) will give the possibility to the user to choose the research which will be updated in a project.
Be Patient ! It's coming soon ! |
