What kind of PC config is best for Mpatent and Manalyzer

I finally get approval to get a new PC to replace the current Pentium III PC with 128 memory. I wonder what kind of PC configuration should I get for Mpatent & Manalyzer applications so they can run super fast and efficient. Should I get a PC with duo core or just a single core? how much memory do I need 512, 1 or 2 GB and what kind of hard disk ? Since I complain so much about these two applications running slow on my old pc, now the IT department want a pc configuration from me so they can order one for me but I have no idea what kind of pc configuration these two applications will run best on... Please help!!!

Hi Bruce,

First i think, you don't have need duo core.

I advise you to have :
- Most important : 512Mo RAM (or better of course) Wink

- CPU > 1.5 Ghz
- HDD > 80 Go (recommended)

I have :
CPU : 1.7 Ghz
RAM : 512 Mo
HDD : 160 Go

and all Matheo's application run perfectly

Thanks for the reply, I gave your suggested config to our IT Dept. I take your advise increased the memory to 1 gb and HD to 160gb. I'm really looking forward to MP running on my new pc.
