Problem downloading bibliographic patent information |
|
Hi Bruno,
I have executed a search. When MP was processing the downloading of the bibliographic information, it had 4 active threads ... but I think that one of them was "blocked".
I think so because it has been permanently there all the time without progressing ... so the total speed was not so high as it is usual.
At the same time I have checked Espacenet to see if there was a problem with this specific bibliographic data, but all seemed ok to me. So I think that it was a casuality.
Now my proposal:
I see that there is ONE "CANCEL" button to cancel ALL the downloading process...
Could it be possible to you to substitute this button with ONE BUTTON FOR EACH THREAD?
In this way, if one thread gets blocked, the user can "cancel" this thread and improve the downloading process.

Hi Bruno,
It seems that you have implemented this improvement in MWeb but not in MPatent.
In MWeb you have substituted the "cancel" button by a "skip" button so if the threads are blocked the user can skip them and the downloading process continues with other new threads.
I think that this button is of HIGH value also to MP.
I have a question: If a user do a "skip" in a patent, how is it visualized?
- A red square would be the best option.
- "nothing" would be the worse option
