IPC codes on USPTO databases Reply with quote
Hi bruno

I have done a search on espacenet, then USPTO, then USPTO issued
It was a search on keywords with publication date = 2006 and IPC = C

The re were around 200 families for espacenet and no families for the US database

Then I add patents with other keywords and I forgot to put IPC= C I has somme more patents from Espacenet ,some more from the US bases
This morning, I looked to some families coming from the US bases. In the description, yhere was nothing written in the IPC code
So I came back to mu first search and type the same keywords without IPC
I found int the US bases 400 more families Crying or Very sad

This confirms that IPC codes don't work in the US base with Matheo, Is this normal Shocked

In fact, IPC appears in US issued patents bibliographic data
However, in this search, I see now that in US issued patents bibliographic data, the patent title doesn't appear . Is it normal Question

i obtain this when i try directly IPC = C and 2005 on USPTO website :

Quote:
The Query ( icl/(c$) and isd/2005$ ) was unparseable (Size of truncation term too small ).

maybe it is for this that MPatent don't find patents.

I'm looking for now why the title empty.

The Advanced Level can be considered as a high resolution, dynamic classification scheme that will be reviewed on a three month time-scale. http://www.pamatnik-most.cz/web/libraries/inder/
