Disable searching by years?

Is it possible to disable the searching by years option?

For example, if I do a general search and want to search for all publications from 1905 and up, then matheo searches each year individually. Is it possible to set matheo up so that it searches all years instead of dividing them up into one search for each year?

For example, if I do a search which has 0 results, then in matheo it takes a long time before I know that there are 0 results. In espacenet, I get 0 results very quickly.

Also if you implement this feature, would it be possible to get an indication of the approximate number of results before it starts to download the actual patents. Espacenet always comes with an estimate of the number of results in a query.

Yes, i already think to do a single request without selected years.
