Dear Bruno,

There have been a number of issues that I wanted to draw to your attention and it seems that I have time to do so.

One of the valuable features of MP is the capacity to citation search. I like the enhancements that you have made to this feature.

I often accumulate a large number of records and when I peruse them in MP I give them a "Pertinence" rating depending on the relevance of the record. As you would expect the citations of relevant records are of interest.

I have encounted a couple of problems here.

The first being that (due to my advancing age perhaps) I am unable to recall which records I have downloaded the cited and/or cited patents for. A work around for me would be colouring of the relevant cell in the cited and/or citing column of records when the cited and/or cited patents have been downloaded.

The second is that the cited/citing patents can only be downloaded one record at a time and each download process causes MP to be fully dedicated to that process until the data has been saved and the process finalised.

I would like to see a process where the download of cited and /or citing could be batched according to "Pertinence" number and that it could happen in background.

I would appreciate your thoughts on these musings.

Dear Robert,

Concerning your first issue "Recall patents..." we will see how can we improve MPatent.

concerning your second issue "Bacth..." humm it's very very hard to add this option into MPatent program, because it wasn't developped to be used in batch mode.

Meanwhile, we will do all we can to find the best solution to make MPatent easy to use.
