problem searching with keywords Reply with quote
all of a sudden I have problem with performing a keyword search. When I enter more than one word in the title & abstract field I get an error message saying cql expression has invalid syntax error at position so and so.

using AND as an operator gives the same results...
when I do the same in espacenet all works as normal...

regards Tom

Dear Tom,

MP uses OPS, not Espacenet directly. The OPS service is provides by Espacenet for Robot/Program like MP.

Concerning your problem could you tell me which method you use and what is your request exactly?

Awaiting your reply,

Hallo Bruno,

I'm searching for induced pluripotent stem cell and used only the first two words in the title and abstract field, so' induced pluripotent'. I also tried unduced AND pluripotent, but that made no difference, I kept getting this error message about a syntaxis error in position 11 or 12...

when I use one keyword it works fine (e.g. only induced)...

regards

tom

Dear Tom,

When I enter in the title field of Espacenet and MP the keyword:

Quote:
"induced pluripotent"

I have the same result.

Also if I enter:

Quote:
induced and pluripotent

I haven't error message.

2 things, maybe:
- Boolean operators must be in lower case
- " " must be used and not ' '
