Therefore, one patent family may be counted multiple times (e.g. 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007). I would find it useful to count the patent family only once, with the oldest priority date. Can you offer the possibilty to create a matrix based on the "oldest priority date" only? By the way, is it possible to use the matrix function with single patents as well (e.g. single patents of a group/priority year)? I hope I did not overlook anything, but I think it is limited to patent families only... Thanks in advance!
