Project not saved inside the correct folder Reply with quote
Hi Bruno,

I'm using the latest version of matheo patent and I have a problem.

After project saving I try to identify the project folder inside my PC.

I try to look inside the following path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\matheo\patent\requests

But inside the requests folder I can't find the project.

Thus:

I search the project, inside C: and I find it inside this path: C:\User\"user's name"\AppData\local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\matheo\patent\requests

The questions are:
Why has the project been saved with such a path?

and

How can I change the saving folder from "C:\User\"user's name"\AppData\local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\matheo\patent\requests" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\matheo\patent\requests" ?

regards

tiziano

Dear Tiziano,

The VirtualStore in the Standard directory when you install a program on Vista not signed by Microsoft.

Now with Vista some programs cannot read/write inside c:/program files/<program>/, then Vista forward automatically in the VirtualStore.

I don't know exactly how to can force MP to write inside the program files directory without modifying the RegisterDatabase, and think it's not a good idea to change the RD.
