Language preference for titles |
|
Hi,
We've been using Matheo Patent and want our results to be displayed in in English where possible (e.g. for the benefit of our colleagues).
We've set the publication preferences to be by country, with US first then EP etc.
We've also set the language preference to English.
We still find that document titles are in French or German even though when we view them on espacenet.com they are shown with English titles.
Please can you advise if there is anthing else we/you can do to maximise the number of titles that are in English.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

Dear Tim,
I do the improvement in MPatent, in the revision "090318".
Just download the latest revision in download section of this forum.
To select the default language, run MPatent, go to the menu "Project"->"Parameters" Tab "Default Tabsheet".
Thank's for this _________________ Regards / Cordialement

Still not working? |
|
Dear Maninna,
Thank you for investigating this for us.
We have downloaded and re-certified the latest version 090323 and set the language preference to English but there is still a problem.
When we export to .csv to share our results with colleagues the EP and WO titles are still in French. I can see from the main view that the [EN] field data is available.
Please can you advise?

Oh sorry,
I forgot to modify this procedure also in MP program.
I do it as soon as possible and I think It will be available in the new revision.

Tim,
I saw the procedure ExportToCSV and in fact there are all languages available for the title. Not only the selected "Default Language Title".
The title section is created like that :
[CC] TEXT /[CC] TITLE / etc....
CC = Country Code
TEXT = Title in the CC language
/ = the intra-field separator _________________ Regards / Cordialement

Thank you |

Thanks Mannina,
Sorry we didn't notice this! Thank you
I used the excel function =mid(A1,find("[EN]"), remaining_number_of_characters) which converted all results to English only.
