[Solved] Problems with download

Dear Bruno,

Having download problems with us patents:

1) Select USPTO PatFT database and enter advanced Search

2)use ccl/345/173 and isd/20090120 mpatent return 9 patents

3)mpatent show it's downloading after downloading a message box is showing 9 missing patents and patent number is all started with ususxxxxxxxA. No patent downloaded. Why all us patent number started with usus?

4)I looked into the request project folder html,picture and text all have downloaded patents data in it?

same problem with USPTO AppFT.

I used one of the missing patent US7479949 to download in epo database

1) Both search and download seems normal

2) After download 1missing patent message showing patent number showing US2008174570A1. No data downloaded.

3) Check epo web site US2008174570A1 look all data is availablePlease

Is it the OPS database problem? Or Mpatent? Please advice.

Tested the latest mp 9.1 seems all the USPTO problems are fixed. Thanks.

EPO problems still the same, download US7479949 shows it is selected.

When downloading it shows downloading US2008174570A1. Picture download ok

when downloading biblio-family-legal looks like not thing is downloaded. 1 missing patent message box show after download. Checked EPO web pages show both us7479949 and US2008174570A1 patents are present.

OPS database or mp problem?

After reading the mp 9.1 new features I am very excited. Looking forward to the new release.

Hum.... OPS problem

In Fact, MP asks US7479949 and OPS reply US2008174570A1 but US2008174570A1 is an empty answer !!

Sorry, it seems to be a MP problem because the US2008174570A1 is not empty !

Not empty but without patent information !!!

Some little informations.

I added the process to extract this kind of patent.

This patent has 299 members in her family.

Actually I do a simple request to get :
- Biblio information only for this patent
- Legal information only for this patent
- Family members only for this patent

My next problem is :
- Must I download for all patents (299) biblio/legal/family information ?

For the next revision, I will download only bibliographic information.

Do you think it's enough ?

I done a new revision 090310.

Now for patents which have big family, MPatent download only bibliographic and legal data. All members won't be downloaded.

Please download the latest revision to tell me if it's ok for you ?

Note : I done also several tests with a version which download all members, and it's very very loooonngg..... do you want to test this version ? If yes, download only the exe file rev. 090310b at :

I just tested your mp 9_1 and mp9 version all work great! You are RIGHT, we don't need to down load all the family members it can save loooots of download time. If we need to down load family members we can down load by ourself.

Congratulation, You just solved a big problem! I just tested MP 9_1 and MP9.01 090204 with TI="touch screen device" date=2008 all selected 21 patents MP 9_1 downloaded all the patents no missing patents message box. MP 9.01 090204 version got 21 missing patents no patent downloaded. This is a great! No more missing patents. Thanks for the great work!

I agreed with your view download only bibliographic information is enough. It saves lots of download time if we need family member info we can use download function download ourself.
