In under developed and developing countries, i.e. Indonesia, Benchmarking to the nation developed is important. Main problem in relation to this benchmarking is how to prepare the information of technology (patent) that are needed in order to create innovation. Mateo paten is good tool to answer that problem. In Indonesia have been started to use matheo paten to create innovation. It is begun by Mr Dou and Sri Mannullang. Also be informed that regarding intelligence economic, we are trying to use mateo paten for create innovation in North Sulawesi province, Indonesia.
